A unique gown designed to make a statement! The Chaaya Maxi dress has been lovingly hand block printed by artisans in Jaipur, India. Featuring a deep V neckline and tiered skirt evoking the most elegant of feelings.

The Chaaya in Chai has been printed using a traditional Buti flower print. Buti means single flower, pictured here amongst a beautiful chai coloured background.

Material ~ 100% Cotton. Depending on each individual, some find the material sheer. A slip may be worn underneath if desired.

Garment Care ~ We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

Beautiful dress but need pockets!

I received my dress last week, very fast shipping. Beautiful dress, very floaty, a lot of material, more than i expected. I went with a size large (i'm 10/12 in US) and the large fits well. But please consider adding pockets!! Dresses made by women for women should have pockets, i kept looking for them but of course, there are none. otherwise, stunning dress, can't wait for the weather to get warmer.

Once again, the team at Daughters of India have stunned me with the beauty. The Chaaya maxi is absolutely gorgeous. I followed the size guide and went a size L. I'm usually in between a L/ XL in most Australian brands. I'm 5"2 so again it's slightly long but nothing a quick hemming can't fix. This dress is so beautiful to wear, the fabric is so soft and smooth. It's floaty and a bohemians dream to twirl in. Daughters, you're quickly becoming my favourite brand, well done again!
