The Prairie dress takes us back to the past, giving us a modern take on the iconic 70’s-80’s Victorian peasant frock.

Made from light weight cotton, this flattering cut makes picnics hillside so effortless & comfortable.

Featuring a small puff sleeve with smocked arm bands, button down front & has removable waist tie. 100% cotton, with sweet soft pink flowers throughout, block printed by hand.

This dress is bringing you more love than ever with its own unique story that we hope you treasure whilst wearing your Prairie dress. During lockdown in India, it was made possible for many of our block printers to continue on working from the safety of their own home whilst continuing to receive a fair wage. The block printers could continue to support their family through this hard time & for that we feel so proud to help our valued workers & their communities. Due to the workers printing from different facilities at this time, the colours of this piece may vary. Some more slightly orange or more slightly brown than others...we feel the colour way of these shades are suited perfectly as they are all the shades of Autumn. This means no same dress is the same, they are unique in their very own way. Your very own treasure, how special!

Haven’t worn it yet as winter here. Material quite thin so imagine I’ll need to wear a cotton petticoat. But should be lovely and cool. Excellent service and prompt delivery.

Exceeded my expectations

This dress is a gem. The fabric is comfortable and soft, whilst maintaining its structure. It has a flattering silhouette that hugs the body but does not overpower. I am speaking from the perspective of a woman that is 5'2" (118 lbs) and can almost never find a long dress that does not look like an oversized sack grazing the floor. I ordered the XS and it fits incredibly well in terms of proportions and length. I typically order dresses like this with the notion that I will most likely have to send them back, as they are usually enormous. This dress is well crafted and thoughtfully designed. I wore it to a formal event and to an informal wedding and it suited both situations. If you dress it up with heels and jewelry and make up, it appears fancy... If you dress it down with flat sandals and messy hair, it appears interestingly effortless. Its a winner, ladies
