With the softest silhouette and beautiful classic hue, our Kyra Mini Dress in White has been crafted for comfortable, everyday wear. Capturing the very essence of femininity through its maternity and breast-feeding friendly design, Kyra features romantic billowing sleeves and an optional front tie to compliment its flowing style. A timeless and versatile shape in a staple colour to effortlessly dress up or relax in as elevated casual wear.

Material ~ 100% cotton double lined gauze. Depending on personal preference, some may find the material slightly sheer. If desired, a slip can be worn underneath for added coverage.

Care ~ After washing, this garment will take on a beautiful cheesecloth effect. We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

Our Kyra Midi dress in White Gauze is an off-white. Please refer to the ghosted images for an accurate colour and detail.

I already have a Kyra in jade so thought I’d go for the white gauze Kyra mini. This really is a beautiful dress and is so flattering on. The cute pockets are an added bonus! Shipping was quick, just over a week to the UK and tracked it all the way to my door. I was so excited to receive it. I am a UK size 14 and the L is perfect for me. I think I need a black one now to wear with tights and boots….

Shrunk

Absolutely love this dress, fabric, fit, color all perfect, unfortunately when I washed it in cold water on the hand wash cycle it shrunk in length by more then 3 inches so I am no longer able to wear it. So disappointed. Have bought several dresses from Daughters of India and have never had this issue before.

However, we are so sorry to learn about the unexpected shrinking after washing. Please know that our dresses made of cotton gauze fabric naturally create a cheesecloth texture, which we find flattering and unique. While this texture is intentional and not considered faulty, we understand your disappointment if it's not what you were expecting. To address the texture of your Kyra White Gauze dress, we recommend using an Enzyme-based detergent and fabric softener while hand washing, as this can help smooth out the fabric fibres. Additionally, you can steam or iron the dress on a cotton heat setting to restore it to its normal size and shape We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused and hope these suggestions help improve your experience with the dress.
