The Daughters of India signature Kyra design in a soft cumin colourway. The everyday Kyra dress features romantic billowing sleeves and optional front tie detailing while the full bodied skirt is free of underlining, making it one of our most comfortable styles due to the magical lightness of the material. Our signature floral pattern feels uplifting and vibrant on this maternity and breast feeding friendly design.
So deliciously soft and comfortable, perfect for travel and everyday wear. A classic midi dress loved by women all over the world.

Material ~ 100% Cotton. Depending on each individual, some find the material sheer. A slip may be worn underneath if desired.

Garment Care ~ We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

Irregular Dye

The style is great, as usual, and it's so flattering on. However, the Cumin shade wasn't the light yellow I was expecting; it definitely looks more tan than pictures on the website and on Instagram depict. I get it, screens don't always do the colours justice. But the reason this dress is 4 stars and not 5 for me is the dye job was really irregular on the item I received. There are big patches where the dye is super dark, and some streaks and spots that are black. It looks messy. I didn't want to bother with the return/exchange process because I wanted to exchange for the Turmeric shade, which is out of stock in my size and I didn't want store credit. Soooo I ended up hand-dyeing this to be a brighter yellow, which looks better, but not really for me. Sadly, I've had to sell it online. I'm hopeful the irregular dye was just a one-off and I really hope they restock the Turmeric shade because I think that's really the colour I was wanting all along. If you like yellowish tan shades, then you'll probably like Cumin, but it was not flattering on my cool-toned skin because it's not a true yellow.
