Our signature Kyra Dress in a maxi length, delicately adorned with traditional hand-block printed blooms in peach hues, each petal and pattern tell a story of elegance.

Featuring pockets, romantic billowing sleeves and an optional front-tie at the neckline. This block print was inspired by the Jasmine flower that grows around Jaipur in India, a pattern designed exclusively for Daughters of India and finished with a vibrant hemline.

Material ~ 100% Cotton. Depending on each individual, some find the material sheer. A slip may be worn underneath if desired.

Garment Care ~ We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

I love the dress but…it has quality issues

I absolutely love this dress. The feel of the fabric, the cut, the fit, the color, the flower print - just beautiful. I feel beautiful and comfortable in it and I love the ethos behind the brand. It was shipped to Mozambique, and it arrived in perfect condition and i had no issues (which was one of my major concerns because getting things delivered here doesn’t always work out). However, i do have some problems on mine with the finishing especially around the colar where the neck binding is sticking out quite visibly, the the wrist cuffs are not aligned so there is some bunching, the gathering stitch for the sleeve hasn’t been pulled out or covered so you can see it. I’ve worn it once and i can already see some that some areas will tear especially around the wrist. Considering the fabric is quite delicate, i’m worried that this will not last and for the price it’s just a real pity. I would love to order some other dresses, and I’m constantly scrolling the site, but finding it hard to justify the price for a garment that is handmade yet poorly finished.
