My most favourite dress ever
Beautiful, effortless and super comfortable dress!
Another great colorway for Kyra
I love the olive color and DOI just gives me a major confidence boost whenever I wear it. I feel so pretty in this dress and always get so many compliments. I can’t stop buying DOI dresses! I’m sad summer is over bc I have to wait 4-5 months til I can wear these beautiful dresses again!
THE dress that started it all
This was the DoI dress that first caught my eye, but it always gets (understandably) sold out quickly. I got lucky and finally managed to get my hands on one, and it was worth the wait. The colour is absolutely stunning, and the material so lightweight and flowy.
Daughters of India
Hi Lovely, Thank you for your love and support ~ It was and still is one of our favourites too! Much love xx
Alright, but not quite there
The dress is comfortable enough, but a few adjustments would make it really good. The chest opening needs a second tie or button to stop it gaping open constantly. Even better would be extending it slightly so that the dress is breastfeeding friendly. It doesn't have pockets, which I find very annoying. Not sure why women's clothing can't include that basic. The top is double layered, but the bottom isn't which means having to wear a slip if you don't want to be on display. Even with the gathers it's very see through in natural light. Otherwise, the length and feel of the dress is great, but it could definitely be improved.
Just not for me
I love DOI dresses and have three in other styles. I’d had my eye on the Kyra for a while because it looks really cute on the models. This dress was comfy, floaty, well-made, and fun, however, the waistline hit right on my boobs which wasn’t very flattering. I usually wear a medium or small and ordered a large specifically so that the seam would hit a little lower, but no luck. I think if the skirt started just a few inches farther down, this style would work a lot better for us bustier gals. I liked it otherwise but just didn’t see myself wearing it, so it was sent back. Plus, the color was cute, but ended up reminding me of the clothes Maria makes out of curtains in The Sound of Music.
