We have teamed up with the lovely ladies of 'Sewing the Seeds.' A women's empowerment initiative & enterprise to help break the cycle for Indian women. Their mission is to create an environment of self determinism & economic independence for women from marginalized communities.

'Sewing the Seeds' provides sewing machines & training to rural women in Tamil Madu, India. They give meaningful employment, a living wage & a positive future. This organisation are committed to the principle of solely employing women...whom come from nomadic, tribal, sex worker & disabled communities. Many are also single mothers. 

These women have made, especially for our customers, a small batch of beautiful, one of a kind market bags. They are beautifully made with a light padded quilting. They are durable, comfortable to use & wear & to know they have come from such a special place means so, so much. 

100% of the profits from the sale of these market bags will be going straight back to the women of Sewing the Seeds Project. It is a critical time for Sewing the Seeds, as without opportunities to work, many of these women will be left in unimaginable conditions. Thankyou for supporting such a beautiful, close to the heart organisation.
