Our signature hand block printed Kyra design in Pepper ~ a traditional Jaal block print featuring a network of white flowers bordered with light brown detailing on a soft black base.

The beauty of block print is stunning on this floor length maxi dress. A flattering feminine design featuring romantic billowing sleeves, pockets, and a full bodied skirt free of underlining, making it the most comfortable style due to the heavenly soft lightness of the material. With optional front tie detailing at the bust, this design is both maternity and breast-feeding friendly.

Material ~ 100% Cotton. Depending on each individual, some find the material sheer. A slip may be worn underneath if desired.

Garment Care ~ We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

Pleasantly surprised!

This is my 6th dress from DOI. My first maxi. I was so unsure of the pattern being dark, but when I opened it to find the detail and the golden brown outlining on each flower & leaf, I instantly loved it. With each dress, it takes me a bit of time to grow into them. Like viewing art work. Once I start wearing them, I feel they become part of me. Very magical! ✨ Thank you to the ladies who cut & sew them with pure love & care!

Amazing and comfortable

People often don’t respect the time and effort into conscious pieces. We live in a fast paced world where we want something and we get it. I waited specifically for black pepper to come back because I knew I was going to own this dress and I’m so glad that I was patient. Currently on my sixth pregnancy with my first official baby girl and I’ve been enjoying my body living in this dress.
