Handmade in India

Inspired by a vintage silhouette, this elevated blouse has been crafted with handloom fabric ~ a rare and exclusive sustainably handmade textile in modern times. Featuring a flowing oversized blouse design with a classic poet-style collar and optional tie, romantic billowy sleeves finished with soft elasticated cuffs with sparkling gold lurex and white detailing on a deep sapphire blue base.

Material ~ 100% Handloom Cotton.

The Poet Blouse is designed to be an oversized fit. If you prefer a more fitted style we recommend sizing down.

Garment Care ~ Gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

The only of its kind

Our order of hand loomed fabric was distributed throughout an entire village in Southern India, roughly 100 homes worked on piecing the fabric for these garments together, providing employment and supporting the continuance of this tradition that holds an expected life-span of only 10-15 years. The Poet Series styles are destined to become vintage due to the rare exclusivity of hand-loomed fabrics in modern times.

Beautiful!

I love this style so much I wound up getting it in all three colors. The gold threads against the blue are lovely and give it a slightly dressy feel. It does run large. If more colors become available, I’ll probably go one size down

A wonderful garment in a fine, hand made fabric with subtle gold thread making it perfect for evening occasions as well as day. I took advice and went for a size down from usual. This fit is perfect.
