Handmade in India

Lalika presents a classic pinafore style crafted from a rare and exclusive hand-loomed textile in stunning shades of burgundy, tan, cream and magenta. Showcasing the beauty of true hand-craftsmanship, the mismatched plaid design features a bustier shaped corset and criss-cross open back flowing into an A-line midi length skirt, a hip-to-bust zip in the middle of the back and tan cotton underlining for added comfort.

Material ~ 100% Hand-loomed Cotton with 100% Cotton Lining.

Garment Care ~ We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

Ethically handmade with love in India, the creation of this garment serves to support local traditions and the preservation of the ancient artistry of handloom weaving.

Lalika Dress

After reading the reviews I was nervous about choosing a size, however, I was happy to find that the dress was more true to size than on the smaller side. I normally wear a 10 in dresses and purchased the Medium. If anything, it was a tiny bit loose. The material is nice and the dress is lined. I just wish it was a little longer. I am 171cm and it isn't maxi length on me. Really glad I bought the dress.

This dress is stunning. The colour palette is perfect for the change of seasons and the crossover back is beautiful. I purchased a large after reading reviews saying it ran small but had to exchange for a smaller size as I found it to be more true to size. I love it so much and I cant wait to style it different ways x

Stunning design

I have quite a few garments from your collection and this style is just beautiful. I am normally a small in your dresses and had to exchange for a medium. It was still tight in the bust and I probably could have exchanged on for a large but I did a small alteration under the armpit which hasn't changed the original style and now it fits wonderful. Another beautiful piece of work. Always wonderful customer service too. Thank you!

Beautiful dress!

Excellent customer service - I made a mistake upon purchase and had emailed to ask for a part refund. I got an extremely fast response and the money was refunded immediately and dress posted within hours. The dress itself is gorgeous. Flowy on the bottom but fitted in all the right places and the fabric is so soft. I’m all about pieces that you can throw on and instantly feel beautiful! I would say runs on the slightly smaller side as I’m a size 10 and 175cm tall and the medium is quite fitted.
