Soft green hues come to life in a delicate design, layered by skilled artisans using large stencils and gentle, sweeping strokes — giving each dress its own subtle character and charm. Featuring Kyra's romantic billowed sleeves, optional front-tie detailing and hidden pockets.

100% Cotton. Depending on each individual, some find the material sheer. A slip may be worn underneath if desired.

Garment Care

We recommend a gentle, cold water hand wash using natural detergents, and hang drying in the shade. Handcrafted garments are delicate, however, designed to last when treated mindfully with love and care.

Lovingly handmade in India, each piece may vary slightly in colour — a natural part of its unique beauty.

Soft and airy, very light weight with a gentle, flowing feel. Semi-sheer with a fine, soft hand feel.

The artisans position the screen carefully, pressing ink through the stencil in sweeping motions, building up each colour layer to create the final print. Two artisans work in tandem, each responsible for a side of the screen, moving in perfect rhythm to ensure the ink is evenly applied across the fabric.

Environmental responsibility is woven into our process. Our printers are committed to responsible water use, with channels in place to collect the water used in the screen printing process and deliver it to a nearby industrial water facility for recycling. This careful handling reflects our dedication not only to craftsmanship but also to the environmental impact of our work.

Empowering women

At the heart of Daughters of India, we believe supporting women to feel empowered is a key component of a positive future.

We have pledged an ongoing monthly donation of $10,000 to support our charity partnerships Sewing the Seeds and Saheli Women.

Sewing the Seeds is a women’s empowerment initiative that uses education and creativity in slow fashion to help break the cycle of poverty for Indian women. Their centre offers training in business, finance, and women’s health, fostering self-confidence in a supportive environment.

We have committed to a monthly donation of $5,000 to support their impactful work.

We’re working with Saheli women to launch Saheli Kapas, a Cotton Project, to support and empower female farmers at the root of the supply chain. Saheli Women believe true fashion starts with the Earth and the women who nurture and farm it.

The pilot begins with five women and their farms, providing them with training, direct income, and ongoing support. By offering access to quality seeds and low-water sustainable practices, we aim to uplift communities while honouring Mother Earth.

Exchanges are available on the same item only, in a smaller or larger size. Domestic orders within Australia will be provided with a prepaid shipping label with a $15 shipping fee. US orders will be provided with a prepaid shipping label with a $30 AUD shipping fee.
